Three products, one Short: trim each segment exact, then join
A three-product review Short is three exact trims at $0.02 plus one $0.10 Timeline render. Use precision exact so each cut lands on the frame you chose.

Cut each product segment with POST /v1/video-trim at $0.02 a job, then join the three in one Timeline render at $0.10 per output minute: $0.16 for a Short of up to 60 seconds. Use precision: exact so a cut starts on the frame you asked for instead of snapping to the nearest keyframe.
Both endpoints are documented in Video trim and Timeline 1.0.
What does a trim request need?
A source, a start, and exactly one of end or duration, where the span is 0.2 to 900 seconds. precision is exact or keyframe. Keyframe is faster but the result reports actual_start_seconds because the cut may begin earlier than requested. For product reviews, the exact mode is the safe choice since the first frame should be the item, not the previous scene.
How do I join them?
Take the three result URLs and place them as three video slots. Each transition fade must be at most 1 second and at most half of the shorter neighbour, and more than eight chained fades are refused. With three clips that is never a problem.
| Step | Count | Unit price | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| video-trim | 3 | $0.02 | $0.06 |
| timeline render, up to 60 s | 1 | $0.10 | $0.10 |
| Whole Short | $0.16 |

}Is the original audio kept?
Timeline's sound comes from the audio spine and the optional soundtrack; the docs list no field for keeping a slot's own audio, so the silent spine in the sample gives a Short without the clips' own sound. To keep the original audio, detach it from the source files first and pass it as audio.url, or use audio.parts[] to join the sound pieces.
