Tattoo flash sheet reveal clip: Kling 3 for 5 seconds, silent vs audio
A 5-second reveal clip of a tattoo flash sheet with kling-3 on Sume costs $0.70 silent and $1.05 with audio; resolution is 720p or 1080p at the same rate.

A 5-second kling-3 clip costs $0.70 with audio off and $1.05 with audio on, at either 720p or 1080p, on Sume. Kling Video v3 Pro is billed per second at list $0.112 silent or $0.168 with audio times 1.25 (Video Router, read 2026-10-05). For a flash-sheet reveal that is mostly a visual, silent is usually the right default.
What do I send for a reveal?
Use the sheet photo as the first_frame, set generate_audio to false, and describe a single camera move.
curl -X POST https://api.sume.com/v1/videos \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SUME_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"model":"kling-3","prompt":"Camera glides slowly across the flash sheet, stops on the center design, studio lamp light","duration":5,"resolution":"1080p","aspect_ratio":"9:16","frame_images":[{"type":"image_url","image_url":{"url":"https://example.com/flash-sheet.jpg"},"frame_type":"first_frame"}],"generate_audio":false}'What changes with audio and length?
Kling 3 accepts 4 to 15 seconds, 720p or 1080p, and 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1. It does not take input_references (reference image, video or audio URLs), so a sheet that must stay exact belongs in frame_images.
| Length | Silent | With audio |
|---|---|---|
| 4 seconds | $0.56 | $0.84 |
| 5 seconds | $0.70 | $1.05 |
| 8 seconds | $1.12 | $1.68 |
| 15 seconds | $2.10 | $3.15 |
How do I poll and download the result?
A submit returns 202 with id, polling_url, status and model. Poll GET /v1/videos/{id} until status is completed (the other terminal values are failed and cancelled), then download from GET /v1/videos/{id}/content?index=0 with the same bearer key. If you send an unsupported field such as input_references to kling-3, the request is rejected with a 400.

curl -L "https://api.sume.com/v1/videos/JOB_ID/content?index=0" \
