Synthesia's 8/31/2026 update lets you bulk download up to 20 videos as individual .mp4 files, from a multi-select or a folder. On Sume the equivalent is code: list your avatar-video resources, fetch each job's result, and store the media.sume.com URL it returns.

Synthesia's detail is its update note only; Sume's is from the Avatar videos docs and asset library, read 2026-10-01.

What does Synthesia's bulk download do?

The note says: "Bulk download up to 20 videos as individual .mp4 files, from multi-select or from a folder, so you can skip the one-by-one workflow." It does not say whether the limit applies to its API.

How do I get many finished videos from Sume?

List the resources with GET /v1/avatar-videos, then read each job with GET /v1/jobs/{job_id}/result. The docs say completed results can include public media.sume.com video artifacts plus public-safe preview fields such as preview_image_url.

curl https://api.sume.com/v1/avatar-videos \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $SUME_API_KEY"

curl https://api.sume.com/v1/jobs/job_123/result \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $SUME_API_KEY"

Which URL should I keep?

The Sume one. The asset docs say Sume mirrors generated outputs into Sume-owned media URLs before exposing them, and integrations should store the Sume URL, not raw provider URLs. Loop over the list and download each file with your own HTTP client; there is no zip endpoint in the pages cited here.

What should I do for a batch of 20?

Page through the list, keep the job ids, fetch each result, and save the URL in your own records. Single-file steps are in download a generated video from the API.
