On Suno's pricing page, Premier is $24 a month with 60 song downloads, which works out to $0.40 per download when you use them all. On Sume a music generation is a flat $0.125, so 60 tracks cost $7.50, but you are buying a different thing.

The numbers from each side

Suno lists three plans and per-plan downloads (read 2026-10-02). Sume's docs list a fixed price per accepted generation (read 2026-10-02).

How to compare them honestly

Arithmetic first. Premier at full use is $24 divided by 60, or $0.40 a download. Suno says annual billing saves 20%, so the same plan would be $19.20 a month, or $0.32 a download (read 2026-10-02). Sume's 60 generations are 60 times $0.125, which is $7.50.

The unit differs. A Suno download is a song you chose to keep out of many you may generate with credits. A Sume charge happens on every accepted generation, including takes you discard. If you throw away three of every four takes, the Sume cost per kept track is $0.50.

Premier also bundles Suno Studio, three stem separation types, and uploads up to 30 minutes of audio (read 2026-10-02). Sume's music API returns one audio file and takes no audio upload.

When each is cheaper

Many drafts and few keepers, with stems or editing: Suno's subscription can win. A steady trickle of finished beds for videos, billed only when used, with no seat to pay for: Sume's flat rate is easier to forecast.

Check the Music 1.0 pricing section before you budget, since the router charges the same fixed Music price whichever engine runs.
