Can I distribute AI music through TuneCore? Suno vs Sume tracks
Suno says tracks from its partner model can go out through Believe and TuneCore. That is a Suno feature. What it means if your tracks come from Sume.

Suno says tracks made with its new industry partner model become eligible to distribute through Believe and TuneCore. That is a Suno-only path. Sume tracks, made through the Music Router, do not get that eligibility from Sume. Read 2026-10-01 from Suno's Believe partnership post (Sep 8, 2026) and the Sume Music Router docs.
What did Suno announce?
Suno's post says the partnership with Believe makes eligible tracks distributable through Believe and TuneCore. It says this is opt-in, that download limits apply, and that audio watermarking and fingerprinting apply. Its v6 post names Warner Music Group, BMG and Believe as partners.
| Item | Suno | Sume |
|---|---|---|
| Distribution through Believe and TuneCore | Eligible tracks, opt-in | Not described in the docs |
| Limits | Download limits apply | Not applicable |
| Provenance | Audio watermarking and fingerprinting | Audio artifact on media.sume.com (mp3) |
| Price per generation | Not covered here | $0.125 fixed |
What does Sume offer?
Sume returns an audio artifact on media.sume.com, an mp3, from a generation that costs a fixed $0.125. The Music Router runs Lyria 3.5 and other routable ids listed at GET /v1/music-router/models. Sume's docs do not describe a distribution channel or label deal for the output.
What should I do before releasing a track?
Read the policy of the distributor you plan to use for AI-generated audio, and keep your prompt and job id as a record of how the track was made. Do not assume an eligibility rule from one vendor transfers to another.
