Avatar video cost per minute on Sume: Standard, Plus and Max tiers
Avatar 1.0 video is $0.184 to $0.58 per second on Sume; a minute is $11.04 to $34.80. Tier table, product-image surcharge and the $0.95 creation fee.
Avatar video is billed per second, with three quality tiers and a higher rate when a product image is attached. The rates are fixed prices on the Sume rate card, not list price times a margin you have to compute. Creating an avatar is a separate one-time $0.95.
Converted to minutes, the numbers are easier to plan with.
Per second and per minute
| Tier | No product per second | With product per second | No product per minute | With product per minute |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $0.184 | $0.194 | $11.04 | $11.64 |
| Plus | $0.245 | $0.258 | $14.70 | $15.48 |
| Max | $0.55 | $0.58 | $33.00 | $34.80 |
What it means for a script
Max costs about 3.0 times Standard per second. A 30 second spot is $5.52 on Standard and $16.50 on Max, with no product image. Attaching a product raises each tier: $0.60 more per minute on Standard, $0.78 on Plus and $1.80 on Max.
The creation fee is paid once per avatar, so it matters only when you create many avatars. For a single presenter and 10 minutes of Standard output, creation is $0.95 and the video is $110.40.
Compare tiers on one real script before committing a month of output, and add narration, captions and timeline separately if your pipeline needs them. Wallet and top-up basics are in the billing and credits docs.
- Pick the tier on a sample, not on the rate card.
- Product images raise the per-second rate on every tier.
- Creation is one-time; video is metered by the second.
