Slideshow Format: a holiday gift guide from up to 30 product images
Send up to 30 product images to Sume's slideshow Format for a gift-guide clip, then check Pinterest's video ad specs before you promote it.

The Format and its image limit
To turn a set of product photos into a gift-guide clip, call sume-slideshow with the photos in attachments. A run accepts up to 30 images as {"type":"input_image","image_url":...} or with an asset_id, and attachments are images only. The catalog describes the Format as "a finished Fastlane slideshow Blitz from brand DNA", for a slideshow, carousel stills or a Fastlane slideshow ad.
That makes it a fit for a guide with a theme per run: gifts under a set price, gifts for a hobby, or last-minute picks. Thirty images is a ceiling, not a target; a guide of eight to ten products reads faster.
A call with attachments
Describe the order and the price lines in instruction, and send the images in attachments. Image URLs must be public HTTPS. The body must name at least one of instruction, input, previous_run_id or attachments, and it is capped at 4 MiB.

}'Where a gift guide plays on Pinterest
Gift guides are a Pinterest staple, and its ad specifications page lists the video limits. Vertical and square both qualify, and the recommended length for ads is short.
| Item | Value on the page |
|---|---|
| File types | .MP4, .MOV or .M4V |
| Encoding | H.264 or H.265 |
| File size | up to 2 GB |
| Length | 4 seconds to 15 minutes; 6 to 15 seconds recommended for ads |
| Standard width ratios | square (1:1) or vertical (2:3, 4:5, 9:16) recommended |
Check, then ship
A finished run gives you primary_output_url and artifacts[], with duration_ms on video artifacts. Compare the duration to the length guidance above and, if you need a shorter cut, trim it with Video trim rather than re-running the Format. Media URLs are durable and public to anyone who holds them, so copy them if your product needs per-customer access control.
Because a run is one unattended turn, it will not ask which product to feature first. Say the order in the instruction, or send the images in the order you want them shown.
