Shopify lists Black Friday 2026 as November 27 and the five-day BFCM period as Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday (read 2026-10-04). From October 4, that is 54 days. A plan of 96 vertical Seedance 2.5 clips across four phases costs $381.17469 on Sume.

This is a worked budget, not a promise of results. Change the counts and the arithmetic below still applies.

Four phases, 54 days

Shopify's own planning guidance puts audit and setup work before the sale, list building and teasers in October, and launch and momentum in November. The plan below maps video spend to the same order, with cheap tests first and the polished renders late.

Per-clip prices used

A 6-second 480p clip is $1.612063. A 10-second 720p clip is $5.778. An 8-second 720p clip is $4.6224. Each follows the token formula in the Sume video docs: ceil(w x h x seconds x 24 / 1024), the list rate, then the 1.25 multiplier.

The 54-day count assumes you start today. If the campaign starts in the first week of November, drop the first phase and the saving is $48.36189.

Where the money tends to drift

  • Offer variants. Price edits across 30 clips multiply fast, so batch them in one phase.
  • Retakes. Hold back 10 percent of the wallet; a retake of a 10-second final is $5.778.
  • Concurrent jobs. A 96-clip plan on a 4-job plan runs 24 waves; on 8 jobs, 12.

Wallet funding

Sume jobs reserve their estimated price at submit and settle on completion, so the wallet must cover the in-flight total. See the credits docs for top-ups, and the Black Friday budget plan for a different split.
