Sermon series title loop: Wan 3.0 first and last frame from one image
Make a looping sermon-series title background: send one image as both first and last frame to Wan 3.0 on Sume; 10 seconds costs $1.25 at 720p.

To make a background that returns to where it started, send the same series artwork as both first_frame and last_frame to wan-3.0. A 10-second clip costs $1.25 at 720p and $2.50 at 1080p on Sume. Wan 3.0 lists first_frame and last_frame as supported frame types and accepts 2 to 30 seconds (Video generation, read 2026-10-05).
Treat the result as a candidate loop and watch the join before you use it: the model is told where the clip begins and ends, not promised a seamless cut.
How do I send the same image twice?
Each entry in frame_images carries a frame_type. Use two entries that point at the same URL, one first_frame and one last_frame.
curl -X POST https://api.sume.com/v1/videos \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SUME_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"model":"wan-3.0","prompt":"Slow drifting light through stained glass, gentle particles, no people","duration":10,"resolution":"720p","aspect_ratio":"16:9","frame_images":[{"type":"image_url","image_url":{"url":"https://example.com/series.jpg"},"frame_type":"first_frame"},{"type":"image_url","image_url":{"url":"https://example.com/series.jpg"},"frame_type":"last_frame"}]}'What does a title loop cost by length and resolution?
Slides and lower thirds sit on top of the clip, so 720p is enough for a projector or stream. Longer loops cost linearly.
| Length | 480p | 720p | 1080p |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6 seconds | $0.375 | $0.75 | $1.50 |
| 10 seconds | $0.625 | $1.25 | $2.50 |
| 15 seconds | $0.9375 | $1.875 | $3.75 |
How do I poll and download the result?
A submit returns 202 with id, polling_url, status and model. Poll GET /v1/videos/{id} until status is completed (the other terminal values are failed and cancelled), then download from GET /v1/videos/{id}/content?index=0 with the same bearer key. Keep the artwork URL public over HTTPS so the service can fetch it.

Repeat the clip on a timeline rather than asking for 30 seconds. The Timeline compose guide shows how to place the same clip several times.
