On Sume a 10 second 720p Seedance 2 clip is $3.78 and Seedance 2.5 is $5.778, a 53% step. Both use the same token count (216,000 for 10 seconds at 1280 x 720), so the whole difference is the per-token rate: $0.014 per 1,000 tokens for Seedance 2 and $0.0214 for 2.5 before the 1.25 margin.

The 2.5 rate matches fal's Seedance 2.5 page. The Seedance 2 rate comes from Sume's pricing code; Sume's Video Router docs list both ids.

Per clip table

Sume figures are tokens x rate per 1K x 1.25.

When the premium is worth it

For a 20 clip test at 10 seconds and 720p, Seedance 2 costs 20 x $3.78 = $75.60 and 2.5 costs 20 x $5.778 = $115.56. Run the first pass on the cheaper id with the same prompts, then re-run only the shortlisted prompts on 2.5: if 5 of 20 survive, the combined spend is $75.60 + 5 x $5.778 = $104.49.

That plan only works if both models accept your input mode; check the per-model limits in the docs before you script it, since resolutions and durations differ between the two ids.
