Seedance 2.5 for 30 seconds: Runway $9.00 at 720p, Sume $17.334
Runway lists seedance2_5 at 30 credits a second ($0.30) at 720p; Sume's seedance-2.5 is $0.5778. A 30-second clip is $9.00 against $17.334, or $8.06 at 480p.

A 30-second Seedance 2.5 clip at 720p costs $9.00 on Runway (30 x $0.30) and $17.334 on Sume (30 x $0.5778). Both support 30 seconds: Runway's docs note Seedance 2.5 runs up to 30 seconds with a large reference budget, and Sume lists seedance-2.5 at 4 to 30 seconds. At 480p on Sume the same clip is $8.06, below Runway's 720p price.
The table
Runway's pricing page lists 30 credits per second at 720p with credits at $0.01. Its docs add a note that Seedance 2.5 now supports 1080p, but I did not read a 1080p credit rate, so there is no Runway 1080p row. Sume's catalog gives all three resolutions.
| Route | Resolution | $ per second | 30 seconds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Runway seedance2_5 | 720p | $0.30 | $9.00 |
| Sume seedance-2.5 | 480p | $0.268677 | $8.06031 |
| Sume seedance-2.5 | 720p | $0.5778 | $17.334 |
| Sume seedance-2.5 | 1080p | $1.42155 | $42.6465 |
Why the Sume price is far above Runway here
Most Sume rows are 1.25 times a provider list price, and Runway's pairs mostly sit at that same ratio. Seedance 2.5 at 720p is a ratio of 1.93, the widest in the catalog pairs I compared in the six-model ratio table. Neither page explains it, so I do not guess. Sume reserves the full price at submit, so a 30-second 720p request holds $17.334 until the job finishes.
The minimum billed length on Sume is 4 seconds, so a 3-second request is not valid for this model.
Decision
If you generate many 720p Seedance 2.5 clips, Runway's price is far lower on these pages. If you need 1080p at 30 seconds, check Runway's current 1080p rate before comparing; the Sume figure is $42.6465. If you want 480p drafts from the same model, Sume's $0.268677 is an option Runway's page does not list.
Budget check
For 50 clips of 30 seconds at 720p, Runway's listed rate is 50 x 30 x $0.30 = $450.00 and Sume's is 50 x 30 x $0.5778 = $866.70. At 480p on Sume it is 50 x 30 x $0.268677 = $403.0155. If the clip will be seen on a phone screen, 480p may be enough for review cuts, and you can re-render keepers at higher resolution.
Confirm Runway's 1080p credits before planning a final render there.
What I could not confirm
Runway's docs note says Seedance 2.5 supports 1080p and 30 seconds. The pricing page I read lists 720p only, so no 1080p Runway price appears here. All vendor figures were read on 2026-10-09 and are listed in the sources; Sume figures come from its public catalog and docs the same day.
