18-second 1080p product spin on Seedance 2.5: $25.59, split or single
An 18-second 16:9 Seedance 2.5 clip costs $25.59 at 1080p and $10.40 at 720p on Sume. Splitting into 9 s or 6 s jobs prices within a few cents.

An 18-second 16:9 Seedance 2.5 clip costs $25.59 at 1080p and $10.40 at 720p on Sume. Splitting it into two 9-second or three 6-second jobs lands within a few cents of the single-job price (read 2026-10-09).
Single job against split
A product spin is a slow orbit, and it can be one continuous shot. Seedance 2.5 takes up to 30 seconds per job, so 18 seconds does not require splitting. The table shows what a split would cost anyway.
| Plan | 1080p | 720p |
|---|---|---|
| 1 x 18 s | $25.59 | $10.40 |
| 2 x 9 s | $25.59 | $10.40 |
| 3 x 6 s | $25.59 | $10.40 |
Balance and holds
At submit Sume reserves the full amount, so the 1080p single job needs $25.59 available. If the balance cannot cover it, the request returns 402 insufficient_credits. A split into three jobs reserves three smaller amounts instead of one large one.

breakThree product spins
Three spins at 18 seconds and 1080p cost 3 x $25.59 = $76.76. If the three are submitted at once, Sume reserves $76.76 before any of them completes.
At 720p the same three cost $31.20, and a 480p draft round of three costs $14.51.
Because a hold is reserved per job, stagger large batches to match your balance instead of submitting everything at once. The 402 response comes at submit time, before a job is created.
Checks
- Prove the orbit at 480p first. At 18 seconds the draft costs $4.84.
- A failed job releases or refunds its reservation where applicable, so the hold does not stay on the balance.
- Cancel is allowed only before generation starts.
- Single-job continuity is the main reason to avoid splitting an orbit; the price is not.
