What Runway publishes
Runway's pricing guide (read 2026-10-07) says credits cost $0.01 each and lists Muse Image at 1 credit and image upscaling at 25 credits. Because the guide gives one credit figure, this comparison treats it as a flat per-image price. Check the guide for options that change the credit count.

Sume sell price = repo list price per image x 1.25, rounded up, at the router's default 1K tier. The Sume rows run from the cheapest to the dearest of the eight models in the repo's image router.

What the comparison means
Only the Soul model on Sume undercuts Runway's flat credit; the other seven cost more per image. These are different models, so price does not tell you about fit. Pick by the look you need, then use the table to see what a batch of 1,000 costs. Add 5.5% on the Sume rows for the platform fee.
Check before a batch
Image jobs on Sume reserve their price at submit. The Images API docs list the model ids, and the thumbnail post prices a 90-image series across the same eight models.
