Repurpose.io reposts to Shorts: re-captioning each clip costs $0.35
YouTube Shorts is reported to partner with Repurpose.io for reposting TikTok and Reels. Import ($0.15) plus caption ($0.20) on Sume is $0.35 a clip.
HeyOrca reports a Repurpose.io partnership on YouTube for reposting TikTok and Reels videos to Shorts. A repost tool moves the file. It does not change what is burned into it.
If the clip needs fresh captions in the Shorts safe area, Sume prices that as two steps: a media import at $0.15 and a video caption job at $0.20, flat for a clip up to 60 seconds.
Batch math
The table multiplies the two published SKUs. It assumes one import and one caption job per clip, and every clip at or under 60 seconds.
| Clips | Import $0.15 | Caption $0.20 | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 | $1.50 | $2.00 | $3.50 |
| 50 | $7.50 | $10.00 | $17.50 |
| 100 | $15.00 | $20.00 | $35.00 |
| 300 | $45.00 | $60.00 | $105.00 |
What this does not do
It does not publish to YouTube and it is not a Repurpose.io replacement. It prices the caption redo only. A clip longer than 60 seconds needs more than one caption job, as the linked caption-cost post explains.
