Sume RMBG 1.0 charges $0.0225 per image and the price does not vary with image size, so 500 product photos cost $11.25. Call POST /v1/rmbg-1.0/remove with an image_url and poll the job (MCP tools list names the same tool as rmbg_create).

Batch cost

Count x $0.0225
PhotosCost
50$1.125
500$11.25
1,200$27.00
5,000$112.50

Python loop

The body is strict: image_url, optional sync_mode, metadata, and the usual webhook fields. Sending model is refused because the provider is chosen server-side.

import os, requests

API = "https://api.sume.com"
h = {"Authorization": "Bearer " + os.environ["SUME_API_KEY"]}
urls = ["https://example.com/shoe-01.jpg", "https://example.com/shoe-02.jpg"]
jobs = []
for i, u in enumerate(urls):
    r = requests.post(API + "/v1/rmbg-1.0/remove",
                      headers={**h, "Idempotency-Key": "rmbg-" + str(i)},
                      json={"image_url": u, "metadata": {"sku": i}})
    jobs.append(r.json()["request_id"])
print(jobs)  # poll GET /v1/jobs/<id>/result for each

Where the price comes from

The provider list is $0.018 per image; Sume bills list x 1.25, which is $0.0225. The same flat rate applies at any size, so a 4,000-pixel hero shot costs what a thumbnail does.

Budget habits

Sume reserves the price at submit. If the balance cannot cover the hold, the call returns 402 insufficient_credits before any work starts (Generation admission). A deterministic Idempotency-Key per photo means a retry after a timeout does not pay twice.
