Recraft V4.1 from $0.035 vs V4 from $0.04: Sume lists only V4
Recraft's docs list V4.1 from $0.035 per image and V4 vectors from $0.04. Sume's catalog has recraft/recraft-v4 only, about $0.05 after its x 1.25 margin.

Recraft's own docs list V4.1 (raster, vector and styles) from $0.035 per image and V4 design-quality vectors from $0.04. Sume's image catalog has recraft/recraft-v4 only; V4.1 is not in the Sume catalog today, so check GET /v1/images/models before you plan around it. Sume bills provider list times 1.25, so a $0.04 list price is $0.05 per image.
Recraft's price lines
All figures come from Recraft's docs page, read 2026-10-05. Prices are "from" figures, so the exact amount depends on the output type.
| Model line | From price | Per 1,000 images |
|---|---|---|
| V4.1 Flash (about 1.3 s) | $0.007 | $7 |
| V4.1 raster, vector and styles | $0.035 | $35 |
| V4 design-quality vectors | $0.04 | $40 |
| V2 vectors | $0.022 | $22 |
Sume's row
From Sume's static rate table, recraft/recraft-v4 lists at $0.04 per image before margin. At provider list x 1.25 that is 0.04 x 1.25 = $0.05, so 1,000 images is $50 on Sume against $40 at Recraft's list. The $10 per 1,000 difference is the margin on that row. Sume's endpoints pricing line is authoritative, so read it live.
| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| Sume model id | recraft/recraft-v4 |
| List before margin | $0.04 |
| Billed per image | $0.04 x 1.25 = $0.05 |
| V4.1 on Sume | Not in the catalog |
| Custom pixels | image_size accepts custom pixels on Recraft models, per the Sume docs |
V4.1 or V4?
V4.1 is $0.005 cheaper at list than V4 on Recraft's page, but the two lines describe different products (V4.1 covers raster, vector and styles; V4 is listed as design-quality vectors), so a single-number comparison can mislead. Run both on the same prompt set at Recraft before you decide, and only then check whether the Sume row meets the need.
If you want one billing line and one API for several image families, use the Sume row. If you need V4.1 or V4.1 Flash today, call Recraft directly.
Check the row
This prints the Recraft entries in Sume's live catalog, so you see whether a V4.1 row has been added since this post.
import asyncio, os, httpx
async def main():
headers = {"Authorization": f"Bearer {os.environ['SUME_API_KEY']}"}
async with httpx.AsyncClient(timeout=30) as c:
r = await c.get("https://api.sume.com/v1/images/models", headers=headers)
r.raise_for_status()
print([m["id"] for m in r.json()["data"] if m["id"].startswith("recraft/")])
asyncio.run(main())One thing to check
Recraft's page says "from", so the real price depends on options such as output type. Run ten representative prompts and read the actual charge in your Recraft dashboard before you scale. On Sume, the billed amount per call is in usage.cost, and the pricing line in the endpoints response is the price table.
