Q4 holiday campaign budget: 34 posts priced from Sume endpoint rates
Price a Q4 holiday campaign on Sume: 28 daily stills with voice, 4 weekly 720p clips and 2 gift guides. Endpoints and totals, read 2026-10-10.

A 4-week holiday campaign of 28 daily still-and-voice posts, 4 weekly 6-second Wan clips with cue captions and 2 five-pick gift guides costs about $11.12 on Sume. That is 34 pieces at an average of $0.33.
Seasonal work is a budget exercise: you know the volume, so you can price it before you start. Each line below is a chain we cover elsewhere, priced with the same rates (read 2026-10-10). The numbers assume one attempt per piece, so add a reserve for retries.
How is each line built?
The three formats use different endpoints, so the unit cost differs by an order of magnitude.
- Daily story: one 1K still ($0.10), about 60 characters of TTS and one Timeline render ($0.10).
- Weekly clip: a 6-second Wan 3.0 clip at 720p ($0.125 per second) with one caption job for timed cues ($0.20).
- Gift guide: five stills, 400 characters of TTS, one render and one cue caption job; see the gift guide post.
What does the campaign cost?
Numbers are unit cost times count, from the Sume pricing code.
| Line | Unit | Count | Subtotal |
|---|---|---|---|
| Daily story, still + voice + render | $0.203 | 28 | $5.68 |
| Weekly 6 s Wan 720p clip + cues | $0.950 | 4 | $3.80 |
| Gift guide, 5 picks | $0.819 | 2 | $1.64 |
| Total | 34 | $11.12 | |
| With a 25% retry reserve | $13.90 |
What are the limits?
Billing is per job and per started Timeline minute, so a short video is not cheaper than a 59-second one on the render line. Every Timeline input must be a media.sume.com file, which all generated assets already are. Concurrency limits apply per workspace, so schedule the 28 daily posts as a queue of a few at a time; the 12-days-of-deals post shows one.
A result you do not like is still a billed job, so the reserve belongs in the plan. Draft costly pieces at 480p first. See the errors and rate limits page for retry advice and the API reference for endpoints.
Holiday rules differ by platform and country; check a platform's own ad policy for the post type before spending.
Where is the best place to cut cost?
The weekly clip is the biggest line per unit but a small share of the total. The daily story is the biggest share because there are 28 of them. A gift guide's price is dominated by its $0.20 caption job; if prices are in the voice-over instead, you save that fee. Reduce the daily story to 0.5K stills ($0.075) and you save $0.70 over the month. See the restaurant daily-special post for the daily pattern.
