A quarter of 13 weeks at 10 videos a week uses 130 clips, which at 15 seconds of Wan 3.0 720p is $244.40 on Sume. On Pro, whose $40 allowance is smaller than the roughly $81 of monthly usage, the quarter costs the same as the usage itself. Startup would be $360 and Scale $1,200 for the quarter, because each month pays the fee and included usage does not roll over.

The quarter by resolution

Monthly usage is the quarter total divided by three, an approximation because months differ in length. Plan fees are charged monthly and included usage does not roll over, so each plan's quarter is three monthly bills. Included usage figures come from Sume's plan catalog; the Billing and subscription page in the dashboard shows what is left on your workspace.

What stands out

Pro is the cheapest plan at 480p and 720p. At 1080p Startup is cheaper by $60.00 over the quarter. Scale is never cheapest in this table because even 1080p only reaches about $163 a month.

Buying yearly may lower the fee: see yearly against monthly billing. Yearly is a 12-month commitment, though, so for a one-quarter campaign monthly billing is the safer fit.

Leave room for the extras

Add a margin for retakes and for non-video steps. A narrated, captioned version of each 15-second clip adds a few cents for voice and a few tens of cents for music and captions, which the weekly receipt post breaks down. A 20 percent buffer is a reasonable starting point if you have no retake history.

The table is deliberately simple. Months differ in length, so a quarter of 13 weeks is roughly three months and the monthly average is a close approximation, not exact accounting. If your campaign runs in bursts, such as a Black Friday push, the plan that is cheapest on the average month may not be the cheapest in the peak month, and a top-up can cover a peak without changing plans.
