Product cutout pop-in for Shorts: RMBG plus compose cost
Cut a product photo out for $0.0225 and overlay it on a clip for $0.02. The per-product price of a pop-in, with the limits.

Product tags and affiliate links in Shorts (reported by HeyOrca, read 2026-10-07) reward videos where the product is clearly visible. A pop-in puts a clean cutout over footage. Two Sume calls do it.
Calls and prices
RMBG cutout removes the background from one image. Timeline compose then stacks or overlays a still on a video. Both inputs must be media.sume.com URLs.
| Step | Call | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Background removal, one image | RMBG | $0.0225 |
| Overlay cutout on a video | Timeline compose, flat | $0.02 |
| Per product | $0.0425 | |
| Three products | $0.1275 |
Limits
Compose is a flat $0.02 per call, so three pop-ins on three clips cost three calls. It overlays; it does not animate the entrance, so a scale-in needs the clip to carry it. Check the compose doc for placement options before you promise a layout.
