Powtoon AI avatar 20 credits a minute vs Sume avatar per second
Powtoon bills AI avatars at 20 credits a minute, about $1.00 to $7.84 a minute by plan or pack. Sume bills per second: $11.04 a minute at standard. Math inside.
The math
Powtoon's pricing page charges 20 credits per minute for AI avatars. Plans price credits differently, so the cost per avatar minute runs from $1.00 to $7.84. Sume prices the Avatar 1.0 talking video per second: standard is $0.184 a second with no product, which is $11.04 a minute ($0.184 times 60).
The two are not the same product, and I make no quality claim. This is a cost ledger.

Dollars per credit is price divided by credits; per avatar minute multiply by 20.

Sume avatar price
Per second, from the Sume rate card: standard $0.184, plus $0.245, max $0.55 with no product. That is $11.04, $14.70 and $33.00 a minute. Avatar scripts run 4 to 60 seconds, at 720p. Because Sume is metered per second, a 12 second clip at standard is $2.21 ($0.184 times 12 is $2.208).
Other Powtoon credit costs
Credits are shared across these, so avatar minutes depend on what else you spend them on. On Sume the avatar job price is the whole line for that clip. Check the live numbers on Sume pricing.
