Pinterest Showcase video: 3 to 60 seconds, 2:3, 1000x1500 on Sume
Pinterest's spec page lists 3-60 seconds, 2:3 and 1000 x 1500 for Showcase video. Sume Timeline can render 1000x1500 and a 3-second cut costs the same $0.10.

Pinterest's ad specs page lists Showcase video at 3 to 60 seconds, a 2:3 aspect ratio, and a recommended 1000 x 1500 pixel size for full-bleed display. Sume Timeline accepts 1000x1500 as an output size and renders up to 30 minutes, so the length and size both fit. The one wrinkle is the 3-second floor: Seedance 2.5's shortest clip is 4 seconds, so you trim.
The spec against Sume
| Item | Pinterest page | Sume |
|---|---|---|
| Length | 3-60 seconds | Timeline 1-1800 seconds |
| Aspect ratio | 2:3 | Set output.width and output.height |
| Recommended size | 1000 x 1500 | 1000x1500 is even and inside 256-2160 |
| Cost to assemble | Not applicable | $0.10 per output minute, rounded up |
Render at 1000x1500
Send output.width 1000 and output.height 1500 on the Timeline 1.0 render. Each video slot has a fit mode: cover fills the canvas and crops, contain keeps the whole frame with bars, blur fills the bars with a blurred copy. A 9:16 source on a 2:3 canvas loses a little off the top and bottom under cover, which is usually the safest choice for product clips.
Timeline bills $0.10 per output minute, rounded up, so a 3-second cut and a 60-second cut each cost $0.10. Use the unbilled plan endpoint first; it returns billable minutes without creating a job.
Getting to 3 seconds
The video generation docs show Seedance 2.5 accepting 4 to 30 seconds, so a model clip is already past 3 seconds. Either cut it in the Timeline slot with the duration field, or run video trim for $0.02 to get a standalone 3-second MP4. The slot route is cheaper because it needs no extra job.
What Sume does not do
Sume does not upload to Pinterest, set Showcase card order, or check your file against the page. The Showcase format on Pinterest also has cards and titles that live in Pinterest's own tools. Treat the spec above as a read-only check, and look again before each campaign because Pinterest can revise it.
A simple build for a Showcase card: generate or shoot at a vertical ratio, cut each clip to the length you need in its Timeline slot, set the output to 1000x1500, and render once. If the clip has speech, video captions can burn text for $0.20 per job up to 60 seconds, which is the same ceiling as the Showcase length. Re-check the Pinterest page before each launch, since specs change.
