Pika plans: every tier costs 1.11 cents a credit, 0.89 on annual

Starter, Creator and Fancy price credits identically on pika.art: $10 for 900, $35 for 3,150, $95 for 8,550. What that means against Sume's per-second pricing.

On Pika's pricing page every paid plan prices a credit at the same rate: 1.111 cents on monthly billing and 0.889 cents on annual. Starter is $10 for 900 credits, Creator $35 for 3,150 and Fancy $95 for 8,550, and all three divide to 1.111 cents. Moving up a tier does not make credits cheaper; it buys features like a commercial license and priority queue.

The arithmetic

The annual prices listed are $8, $28 and $76 a month. Dividing each by its credits gives the 0.889 cents figure. The last two columns show what 1,000 credits cost.

What the tiers do change

According to the page, Free and Starter have no commercial license and no priority queue; Creator adds the commercial license; Fancy adds unlimited parallel generations, priority queue and early access to new models. So the question for a team is which features you need, not which tier is cheapest per credit.

One line matters if you plan to automate: top-up credits are only for Pika Create on pika.art and cannot be used with the API, MCP, iOS app or old.pika.art. The page points API users to a separate Pika API Club and Enterprise API, whose terms I did not read here.

Comparing with Sume

I cannot convert Pika credits to dollars per second of video, because the page I read does not state credits per clip. Sume avoids that step: it bills the provider list price times 1.25 in USD per output second. For example a 5-second Wan 3.0 clip at 480p is 5 x $0.0625 = $0.3125, and a 5-second Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 clip at 720p is 5 x $0.125 = $0.625. To compare the two properly, price one finished clip on Pika in credits, multiply by the per-credit rate above, and set it next to the Sume figure. See also the Pika API Club comparison.

Picking a plan

Since the per-credit price is flat, buy the smallest tier that has the features you need and top up with packs only if you stay on the Pika site. For a solo creator who needs a commercial license, Creator at $35 is the lowest tier on the page that includes one. For anyone who plans to call an API, the page says top-up credits will not work there, so the Pika API Club or Enterprise API is the route to read about at dev.pika.art.

Annual billing saves 20 percent on each tier ($10 to $8, $35 to $28, $95 to $76).

What I could not confirm

Pika's page also mentions early access to new models from a higher monthly price on the Fancy plan and an Enterprise tier with custom pricing. Neither has a published per-credit figure, so they are left out of the table. All vendor figures were read on 2026-10-09 and are listed in the sources; Sume figures come from its public catalog and docs the same day.
