One music bed for 50 holiday ads: $0.125 total, $0.0025 each
A Lyria music track is a flat $0.125 on Sume. One bed reused across 50 ads is $0.0025 per ad; a fresh track for every ad costs $6.25.

Music Router charges a fixed $0.125 per audio generation on Sume, whatever the track length you ask for in the prompt. One bed used under 50 ads costs $0.125 in total, or $0.0025 per ad, and 50 different tracks cost $6.25. Which one you want depends on how much the ads need to sound alike.
Flat price, variable use
The docs say every Music Router model charges the fixed Music price per audio generation. The length is controlled in the prompt, for example 'a 2-minute track', because Sume rejects duration fields. So a 15-second bed and a 2-minute bed cost the same.
| Plan | Tracks | Cost | Per ad |
|---|---|---|---|
| One bed, reused | 1 | $0.125 | $0.0025 |
| Four moods, 12-13 ads each | 4 | $0.50 | $0.01 |
| Eight beds, one per ad group | 8 | $1.00 | $0.02 |
| A fresh track per ad | 50 | $6.25 | $0.125 |
Length is not a price lever
Because price does not depend on length, asking for a longer bed than you need costs nothing extra, and a shorter one saves nothing. Timeline places the audio and renders the ad for $0.10 per output minute, rounded up.
The render is the larger cost here. Fifty ads at $0.10 each is $5.00, which is 40 times the cost of one bed. Music is the cheap line in a finishing budget.
- A single bed makes a campaign sound consistent.
- Several beds protect you from the same track appearing in every ad a viewer sees.
- Check each platform's rules for AI-generated music before you ship.
What a bed does not include
The $0.125 buys the audio generation. It does not include placing the track in a video, and it does not include voice. For the full finishing line, a 15-second ad needs a render ($0.10 per output minute, rounded up), possibly a caption job ($0.20) and a voice line at $0.0475 per 1,000 characters.
For one 15-second ad with a 250-character voice line, the finishing layer is $0.10 for the render, $0.0119 for the voice, $0.20 for captions and $0.0025 for the share of one bed across 50 ads. The total is $0.3144 per ad, before the video itself.
Music is the smallest line in that sum, so a fresh track per ad costs more than it deserves only when the sound matters to the campaign.
A rule for choosing
Use one bed when the ads run together in one placement, and several when a viewer might see many of them. The cost difference between one bed and eight is $0.875, so the choice is about taste and platform rules, not price. If you pick several, name each take by mood so you can match it to the ad.
Mixing the two
A common compromise is eight beds for 50 ads, about six ads per bed, for $1.00. That is $0.875 more than a single bed and $5.25 less than a fresh track for each ad. See the six holiday beds for 78 cents and the cost of finishing 100 holiday ads for the surrounding lines.
