Generating one hour of video a month, or 3,600 seconds, costs $180 on Veo 3.1 Lite at 720p, $360 on Fast at 720p, $432 on Fast at 1080p and $1,440 on Standard. On Sume, Gemini Omni Flash is $450 a month at 720p and $675 at 1080p.
That is generated footage, before retakes. Most teams will pay for more seconds than they publish.
Monthly totals
Each figure is 3,600 times the per-second price. The 4K figures are shown for Standard, Fast and Omni on Sume. Lite has no 4K row.
Google's Omni Flash is about $0.10 a second at 720p, so $360 a month before any retakes.

An hour is a lot
An hour a month is about 120 clips of 30 seconds, or 360 clips of 10 seconds. That is roughly a dozen a day, which is a content team, not a hobby.
At smaller volumes, such as 10 minutes a month, divide by six: $30 on Lite 720p, $72 on Fast 1080p and $75 on Omni at 720p on Sume.
Where the money goes
Standard is the biggest line item and the one with the least variation by resolution. Using it for everything costs $1,440 at 720p or 1080p, and the difference to Fast at 1080p is $1,008 a month. That money is worth spending only on shots where Standard shows.
Lite and Fast add a mix of volume and polish at $180 to $432. Omni on Sume is in the same band as Fast, at the 720p price of $450 versus $360 for Fast.
What we left out
Sume does not list a Veo model. Its Google video model is gemini-omni-flash-1.1, which takes 3 to 10 seconds at 360p, 720p, 1080p or 4K, in 16:9 or 9:16, with audio always on. Sume bills the provider list rate times 1.25 for each output second, so its rates are $0.0375, $0.125, $0.1875 and $0.375 a second. Retakes, tax, storage and the cost of the edit are not in the table. If your keep rate is one in three, multiply by three before you take it to finance.
