For a 4:3 kiosk screen, use wan-3.0, minimax-h3, minimax-h3-max or a Seedance id on Sume; gemini-omni-flash-1.1 (16:9 and 9:16) and kling-3 (16:9, 9:16 and 1:1) do not list 4:3. A 10-second clip costs $0.75 on H3 at 768p, $1.25 on Wan 3.0 at 720p, $3.03 on Seedance 2.0 Fast and $5.78 on Seedance 2.5.

Set aspect_ratio: "4:3" explicitly. A ratio the model does not list is rejected, not silently changed. Source: Video Router and Video generation, read 2026-10-06.

What does the request look like?

Same body as any clip, with aspect_ratio set.

curl -sS -X POST https://api.sume.com/v1/videos \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $SUME_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "model": "wan-3.0",
    "prompt": "Slow push-in on a bronze statue in a gallery, soft museum lighting",
    "duration": 10,
    "resolution": "720p",
    "aspect_ratio": "4:3"
  }'

What else should I check?

Look at the kiosk's real pixel size. A 4:3 720p render is 960 by 720, and many kiosk panels are 1024 by 768, so test one clip on the hardware before you batch the exhibit.
