Luma Agents usage: Pro 4x, Ultra 15x, and Sume Agent by plan

Luma lists 4x Luma Agents usage on Pro and 15x on Ultra. Sume gates Sume Agent by plan (limited on Free, full on Pro) and draws it from one credit balance.

Luma's pricing page lists Pro ($90 a month, 40,000 credits) with "4x usage with the Luma Agents" and Ultra ($300 a month, 150,000 credits) with "15x usage with the Luma Agents". Sume does not publish a usage multiplier: its plan cards say Free has "Limited access on Sume Agent" and Pro has "Full access on Sume Agent", and Sume Agent draws from the same credit balance as generation and the API.

Luma's facts are from its pricing page and Sume's from the pricing page, read 2026-10-01.

What does Luma attach to each plan?

The page ties a multiplier to the higher tiers and does not define the baseline on the same page, so "4x" is relative to something the page does not print.

How does Sume gate its agent?

By plan, with two named levels. Free is listed with image generation and limited Sume Agent access; Pro adds full Sume Agent access, video generation and API + CLI + MCP access. The pricing FAQ says Startup adds a shared team workspace and more parallel jobs, and Scale adds the highest self-serve concurrency.

Do the agent and generation share a balance?

Yes. The pricing FAQ answers "No" to separate balances: credits sit in one balance, and video generation, Sume Agent, Formats and the API all draw from it at each model's published rate. So agent work is not a separate allowance; it spends the same balance a render does. For limits on parallel work, see plan-only concurrency.

How do I compare the two for my workload?

Run a representative session and count the cost, since a multiplier without a baseline cannot be priced. On Sume, the unit is the USD rate of each model the agent calls; see how Sume pricing works.
