A 24-post monthly calendar for a local shop costs $24.0695 to produce on Sume: 12 carousels, 8 finished Reels and 4 product clips. The Reels are 76.80 percent of the bill despite being a third of the posts.

All figures are Sume billable amounts read on 2026-10-03. The mix is our planning shape: three carousels, two Reels and one clip a week is roughly what one person can review.

The month in lines

Carousels use GPT Image 2.5 at medium quality, $0.0165 per image. Reels are 15 seconds on Wan 3.0 at 720p ($0.125 per second) with narration at 15 characters a second, one caption job, one Timeline minute and one music track.

LineCost
12 carousels, 8 slides, GPT Image 2.5 medium$1.584
8 Reels, 15 s, Wan 3.0 720p, finished$18.4855
4 product clips, 8 s, Wan 3.0 720p, silent$4.00
Month total$24.0695

Adding retakes

Plan for retakes on the Reels. At three takes per kept Reel the clip line triples: the 8 Reels' footage goes from $15.00 to $45.00, and the month total to $54.07.

Carousels retake cheaply, since a full redo of a slide costs under two cents.

Where the budget moves

Swap the Reel model and the month moves most. On Seedance 2.5 the same eight Reels cost $72.82 instead of $18.49, so the total becomes $78.41.

Method and assumptions

Carousels: 8 slides times $0.0165 is $0.132 per carousel, times 12 is $1.584. Reels: 15 seconds times $0.125 is $1.875 of footage, plus 225 characters of narration at $0.0000475, a $0.20 caption job, a $0.10 Timeline minute and a $0.125 music track. Clips: 8 seconds times $0.125 is $1.00, times 4.

The 24-post calendar assumes one image model, one video model and one resolution. Real shops mix, for example a Seedance 2.5 clip for the hero product and Wan 3.0 for everything else. Price that by replacing the model rate on only the lines that change.

What Sume does and does not do

Sume prices every job at submit from the billable-rate tables (provider list times 1.25). It does not publish, schedule or measure anything, so the posting side of the plan is yours. Confirm current rates in the catalog before quoting.

Rerun the arithmetic

The same line items as a short script, so you can change a quantity and see the total. It is plain arithmetic on the rates in this post; it does not call the Sume API.
