This post converts the printed credit costs into dollars so they can sit beside per-second prices. The conversion assumes the credit counts on the page are what each plan grants over a year; the page labels the allowance as annual credits and shows one figure per plan.

What a Magnific credit costs

Each individual plan shows a monthly price, a lower per-month price if billed annually, and a yearly credit grant. Dividing 12 months of price by the yearly credits gives the unit price below.

The monthly Premium rate is $0.0010 per credit. The best rate on the page, Pro Starter on annual billing, is $0.00066 per credit, about 1.5 times cheaper.

The video costs in dollars

The page prints four sample video costs, each for a stated number of seconds. The table converts them at the two ends of the range: Premium on the monthly price, and Pro Starter on annual billing.

Seedance 2.5 at 1080p is the outlier: 4,400 credits for 4 seconds is 1,100 credits per second, about 1.10 dollars per second at Premium monthly.

A cross-check against Runway's API

Runway's developer guide prices a credit at $0.01 and lists wan3_prime at 28 credits per second at 1080p, which is $0.28 per second. Magnific's Wan 3.0 PRIME 1080p sample is 680 credits per 2 seconds, or 340 credits per second, which is $0.34 per second at Premium monthly and $0.2244 on Pro Starter annual. Same model family, similar order of magnitude, and the answer depends on the plan you hold.

Sume's Video Router bills Wan 3.0 at list times 1.25. Its listed rate is $0.20 per second at 1080p, which becomes $0.25 per second billed.

Limits

For budgeting, use the highest unit price on a plan you are not sure you will fill.

  • The page prints only four video samples and four image samples, not a full rate card.
  • Sample lengths differ (5, 4, 4 and 2 seconds), so compare per second, not per clip.
  • Plan credits that go unused are not worth the unit price you computed; the real price is plan cost divided by what you actually spend.
