Ideogram 4.5 for 100 SKUs: low, medium, high totals for a mixed plan

Fal lists Ideogram 4.5 at $0.03, $0.06 and $0.22 per image by quality. The totals for 100 SKUs under five plans, and what Sume's docs say about price.

What does a 100-SKU Ideogram 4.5 batch cost at each quality?

At the vendor's list prices, one image per SKU costs $3.00 on low, $6.00 on medium and $22.00 on high. Fal's Ideogram v4.5 page, read 2026-10-03, lists $0.03, $0.06 and $0.22 per image by quality, and says image size does not change the price. Sume's Image API docs quote the same three numbers as the Fal list price.

Those are vendor list prices. The docs do not give a Sume price for this model in that passage, so I do not state one here. For what your wallet is charged, read the pricing lines in GET /v1/images/models/ideogram/ideogram-v4.5/endpoints, which the docs describe as the amount charged to your wallet.

Which plans are worth comparing?

Plan quality by the job each image does. The mixes below are examples, with the arithmetic shown so you can swap in your own counts. Quality on Ideogram 4.5 is low, medium or high, omitted defaults to medium, and resolution is 1K or 2K.

Totals at Fal list prices for Ideogram 4.5 ($0.03 low, $0.06 medium, $0.22 high; read 2026-10-03). Sume's own price is not stated here.

Per SKU: 1 low + 1 medium + 1 high300$0.03 + $0.06 + $0.22 = $0.31 per SKU, x 100$31.00

How do I choose?

High costs 7.3 times low per image ($0.22 / $0.03). That gap is the whole argument for drafting: if low gives you a usable layout for most SKUs, you pay the high price only on the ones that need dense text or packaging detail. The docs' own guidance for the older Image 1.0 alias is to escalate quality for finals, dense text, or packaging, which is the same instinct.

Resolution is the cheaper dial here. Since price does not change by size, 2K costs the same as 1K at a given quality, so choose the tier by where the image will be used, not by budget.

How do I keep the batch inside the plan?

Set the quality explicitly on every request, because an omitted value defaults to medium and would quietly turn a $3.00 draft run into $6.00. Count completed images, not attempts: the docs say failed or cancelled generations are not billed, while completed ones are billed in full.

For a hard stop, compare the usage.cost of each response with a running total, as in the post on a budget guard. Re-run the table with your own SKU count: multiply the per-image price by images per SKU, then by SKUs.
