How many AI images does $25 buy on Sume? A count for 22 model settings

A $25 balance buys 94 GPT Image 2.5 max images or 5,000 Higgsfield Soul images on Sume. Whole-image counts for 22 model and quality settings, at billed prices.

Twenty-five dollars buys anywhere from 94 images to 5,000, depending on the model and the quality tier you pick on Sume's image API. At the top end, ChatGPT Image 2.5 at max quality costs $0.2635 billed per 1024x1024 image, so $25 covers 94 of them. At the bottom, Higgsfield Soul at 720p costs $0.005 billed, so $25 covers 5,000. The middle of the catalog sits between 250 and 1,000 images: Nano Banana 2.1 at 1K gives 250, FLUX.2 Pro gives 666, Grok Imagine gives 1,000.

The table below sorts all 22 settings from cheapest to most expensive. Counts are whole images, rounded down, at the billed price: provider list times 1.25, the standard Sume margin from the image docs.

The count, cheapest first

List prices come from Sume's image price tables, the same figures the pricing line of each model's /endpoints record carries. GPT Image 2.5 is token-billed, so its rows use a 1024x1024 image with no prompt text and no references; a real prompt adds about $0.0001 at list, and reference images add input tokens.

Reading the table without fooling yourself

Three habits keep the count honest. First, it is a count of successful images: Sume bills a generation only when it completes, so a failed or cancelled one does not use balance. Second, n multiplies price: four images in one call cost four times the per-image line, so a $25 balance does not buy more at n: 4. Third, several rows are not interchangeable. Soul is text-only and offers 720p or 1080p; Imagen 4 Fast and Ultra are text-only; Qwen Image Max is text-only; the rest accept references.

Quality tiers move GPT Image 2.5 across a 36-fold range in this table. The same model that gives 3,389 images at low gives 94 at max. If you omit quality on Sume, the default for GPT Image 2.5 is high, which is 379 images for $25.

Choosing a budget row

For drafts and thumbnails, the cheap end does the work: Grok Imagine, Qwen Image and Imagen 4 Fast at $0.025 billed give 1,000 images for $25, and GPT Image 2.5 at low gives more than 3,000. For product and marketing finals, the 250 to 666 range covers FLUX.2 Pro, Seedream, Ideogram 4.5 and Nano Banana 2.1. For hero images, the 94 to 213 range is where GPT Image 2.5 xhigh and max and Nano Banana Pro at 1K sit.

A common split is a draft pass on a cheap row followed by a final pass on a pricier one for the keepers. Ten finals on Nano Banana Pro at 1K cost $1.875; fifty drafts on Grok cost $1.25. The whole loop is $3.13, which is 12.5 percent of the balance.

Check the live price before you rely on a count

Prices change, so read the endpoint record for the model you will use and divide your balance by cost_usd. Rounding down matters at the edges: $25 divided by $0.0375 is 666.67, so you get 666 whole images and a few cents left over.
