How many 6-second holiday clips does $100 buy? Twelve Sume video rates
At Sume's billed rates, $100 buys 434 six-second clips at 360p on Omni Flash, 133 at 720p, 88 at 1080p and 44 at 4K. Twelve model and resolution rows inside.

A $100 video budget buys between 44 and 434 six-second clips on Sume, depending on model and resolution: 133 clips at 720p on Gemini Omni Flash 1.1, 263 at 480p on Wan 3.0, and 44 at 4K on Omni Flash. The rest of this post is the table that gets you there, with the rule used to compute it.
Holiday budgets are usually set as a lump sum, then argued over clip count. Working backward from the lump sum is faster than quoting each clip.
The rule
Take the provider list per second from the Video Router catalog, multiply by 1.25 for the billable rate, multiply by 6 seconds, round the clip up to the next cent, then divide $100 by that and round down. For example, Omni Flash at 720p is $0.10 × 1.25 = $0.125 per second, so a clip is $0.75 and $100 / $0.75 = 133.3, which is 133 clips.
A 6-second clip is inside the duration range of every row below (Omni Flash 3 to 10 seconds, H3 and H3 Max 5 to 15, Wan 3.0 2 to 30), and the catalog's capabilities remain the source of truth.
Twelve rows
Rates are from the Sume Video Router reference, which records fal list prices dated between 2026-08-24 and 2026-09-08 for these rows.
| Model and resolution | List per s | Billable per s | One 6 s clip | Clips per $100 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Omni Flash 1.1, 360p | $0.03 | $0.0375 | $0.23 | 434 |
| Wan 3.0, 480p | $0.05 | $0.0625 | $0.38 | 263 |
| H3, 480p | $0.05 | $0.0625 | $0.38 | 263 |
| H3 Max, 480p | $0.05 | $0.0625 | $0.38 | 263 |
| H3, 768p | $0.06 | $0.075 | $0.45 | 222 |
| H3 Max, 768p | $0.08 | $0.10 | $0.60 | 166 |
| Omni Flash 1.1, 720p | $0.10 | $0.125 | $0.75 | 133 |
| Wan 3.0, 720p | $0.10 | $0.125 | $0.75 | 133 |
| Omni Flash 1.1, 1080p | $0.15 | $0.1875 | $1.13 | 88 |
| H3 Max, 1080p | $0.16 | $0.20 | $1.20 | 83 |
| Wan 3.0, 1080p | $0.20 | $0.25 | $1.50 | 66 |
| Omni Flash 1.1, 4K | $0.30 | $0.375 | $2.25 | 44 |
How to read the table
Clip count is not the same as usable clips. If one in three renders is rejected, divide the last column by 1.5: 133 becomes 88 usable clips at 720p on Omni Flash. Budget on usable clips for finals, and on raw clips for drafts.
Resolution is the big lever. Moving from 720p to 1080p on Omni Flash costs 50% more per clip, so $100 buys 45 fewer. Moving from 1080p to 4K doubles the price again.
A split that fits a Q4 test
Spend $30 on 360p drafts, which is 130 clips on Omni Flash, review them, then spend $70 at 1080p on the keepers, which is 61 clips at $1.13. That is 191 clips in total from $100, against 88 if every clip had been rendered at 1080p first. The saving comes entirely from not paying 1080p rates for ideas you throw away.
Before you commit
Call GET /v1/videos/models to read each model's live pricing_skus and limits before a big run, since catalogs change. Seedance 2.5 does not appear in the table because its price is not recorded in the reference this post reads.
