The table

Sume rates are the vendor list times 1.25. The Cloudflare figures are as printed on its page; I did not check whether Cloudflare adds anything on top of them.

Reading it

  • At 720p, Wan 3.0 and Omni are a little below HappyHorse's $0.14. At 1080p Omni is $0.1875, a little above HappyHorse's $0.18, and Wan 3.0 costs 39% more.
  • Kling 3 is priced with an audio switch, not by resolution; both 720p and 1080p share the rate.
  • A 10-second 1080p clip: HappyHorse $1.80 on Cloudflare, Omni $1.875, Kling 3 silent $1.40, Wan 3.0 $2.50 on Sume.

What the numbers leave out

HappyHorse takes prompts up to 2,500 characters and five aspect ratios; Omni takes only 16:9 and 9:16. Price per second is the first filter, not the last. Check the clip length each model accepts: Omni stops at 10 seconds, the others reach 15 or more.

A 100-clip budget

Take 100 clips of 8 seconds at 1080p. HappyHorse on Cloudflare at $0.18 a second is $144. Omni 1.1 on Sume at $0.1875 is $150. Kling 3 on Sume without audio at $0.14 is $112, and with audio at $0.21 is $168. Wan 3.0 at $0.25 is $200. These are list-based sums from the table above, not quotes, and none of them includes retakes.

The spread is under 40% between the cheapest and the dearest, which is small next to the cost of retakes. A model that gets the shot right in one pass, rather than three, is cheaper than any rate in the table.
