Hanukkah 2026 begins at sundown on Friday, December 4, and ends at nightfall on Saturday, December 12, which is eight nights. The first night is also a Friday evening, so a business that posts its first-night message on the day has a short, busy window. The plan is to have all eight clips rendered and reviewed by Thursday, December 3, and to schedule the first one for Friday morning.

On cost, a 6-second clip on Wan 3.0 at 720p lists at $0.10 per second; Sume bills list x 1.25, so $0.125 per second and $0.75 per clip. Eight clips are $6.00.

Work-back schedule

Dates are the Gregorian dates of 2026. Adjust for your region's sunset and for your audience.

One request per night

wan-3.0 accepts 2 to 30 seconds at 480p, 720p and 1080p and generates audio. Keep each clip at 6 seconds so the cost per night is predictable, and use a text prompt per night that names the night number as a cue you will add later as a caption, not as a spoken word.

Details to get right

Candles are added one per night, and a clip with the wrong count of candles is an error a community notices at once. Do not leave the count to the model. Describe the number of lit candles in the prompt, check the frame, and add the night number as a caption cue.

Run the finished clips through Video captions with cues for the night number and your greeting. Cues are authored text with start and end times and do not need speech.

  • Check candle count in every frame of every night.
  • Keep branding to the last second so the clip reads as a greeting.
  • Do not use religious symbols as a pure sale decoration; keep the offer in the caption.
