A changed class time is a short, repeatable notice, which suits a script-driven avatar. At Sume's listed no-product rates, 20 seconds costs about $3.68 on Standard, $4.90 on Plus and $11.00 on Max. Plus is the default when you omit quality. Reuse one avatar as the studio's face, and render a new clip each time the schedule moves.

The script and the call

Write about 20 seconds of speech: the class, the old time, the new time, and where to check for more changes. Put the new time first so it survives a viewer who leaves early.

Create the avatar once with POST /v1/avatar-1.0/generate, then call POST /v1/avatar-1.0/talking-video with its avatar_handle, a script, aspect_ratio 9:16 for Stories, and an Idempotency-Key such as gym-spin-2026-10-08. Poll the job until it completes. Scripts must estimate to 4 to 60 seconds.

What it costs

At 20 seconds: Sume reserves on its planned billable seconds, which can differ a little from the length of your script, so these are estimates.

Look before you render

Use an avatar video preview to see the first frame, then render. The first frame is where a gym-floor scene prompt either works or doesn't. Changing the script later needs a new preview, but changing only quality does not.

Label it

Tell viewers the presenter is AI-generated. Sume's disclosure record post lists the job fields worth saving per clip, and authored caption cues can burn a disclosure line into the video.
