Gemini Omni Flash cost per minute: reported rates vs Sume rows
Two pages list different 1080p prices for Gemini Omni Flash. Per-second rates from both, plus Sume rows and what a minute of finished footage costs.

One minute of Gemini Omni Flash footage costs about $6.00 to $9.12 at 1080p depending on which page you read, and $11.25 on Sume. geotoolbox.ai lists $0.152 per second at 1080p; Hedra lists the Gemini Omni Flash API at $6.00 per minute at 1080p, which is $0.10 per second. The two disagree, so check Google's own price page before you commit a budget.
Sume's rows are the provider list prices in the catalog code (list of 2026-08-28) times the 1.25 house multiplier from the Video Router docs. The third-party figures come from geotoolbox.ai and Hedra, both read on 2026-10-02, and are reported by those sites rather than taken from Google.
What are the per-second and per-minute numbers?
Omni Flash makes 3 to 10 second clips, so a minute of footage is several jobs. The last column is 60 seconds at the Sume rate.
| Resolution | geotoolbox.ai reports | Sume list (code) | Sume billed per second | Sume 60 s of footage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 360p | about $0.034 | $0.03 | $0.0375 | $2.25 |
| 720p | about $0.10 | $0.10 | $0.125 | $7.50 |
| 1080p | $0.152 | $0.15 | $0.1875 | $11.25 |
| 4K | $0.304 | $0.30 | $0.375 | $22.50 |
Why does the 1080p figure differ between pages?
The pages do not say. Hedra's $6.00 per minute equals $0.10 per second, which matches the 720p rate on the other lists, so it may be quoting a different tier or a rounded number. Rather than guess, take one figure from Google's own pricing page and keep the third-party numbers as cross-checks.
How many jobs make a minute?
A 10-second 1080p clip is 10 times $0.1875, or $1.875. Six such clips make a minute of footage at $11.25. Run one short job and read its billed cost to confirm the rate before you plan a larger batch.
How do you cut cost on drafts?
Resolution drives the rate, so test the prompt at 360p, where a 10-second clip is $0.375 at the Sume rate, then render the keeper at 720p or 1080p. Omni Flash always generates audio, so there is no audio-off saving to take. For deliverables above 1080p, 4K is the top row of the table.
