FLUX 3 Image 1,000-image test: $48 list, $24 if the 50% promo holds
A 1,000-image FLUX 3 test costs $48 at 1k and $100 at 2k on BFL's list. A reported 50% launch discount through Oct 8 would halve that. Not on Sume.

A 1,000-image FLUX 3 Image test costs $48 at 1k and $100 at 2k at BFL's list prices. One press report says API access is discounted 50% through October 8; that discount is not on BFL's pricing page, so treat it as reported and re-check before you spend. FLUX 3 Image is not in the Sume image catalog today; check GET /v1/images/models for the live list. The catalog lists FLUX.2 Pro and FLUX.2 Flex.
The math
BFL's page lists the per-image prices and says batch cost is the base price times the number of images. The discounted columns are writer-derived and assume the reported 50% is real.
| Size | List per image | 1,000 at list | 1,000 at a reported 50% off |
|---|---|---|---|
| 768sq | $0.041 | $41.00 | $20.50 |
| 1k | $0.048 | $48.00 | $24.00 |
| 2k | $0.100 | $100.00 | $50.00 |
| 4k | $0.607 | $607.00 | $303.50 |
What is and is not confirmed
The Decoder, a press outlet and not BFL, dates the launch to October 2, 2026 and says the API discount runs through October 8. The Higgsfield changelog lists FLUX 3 Image on October 1. BFL's own pricing page shows no promotion. If the discount is real, a test run before the 8th is half price; if it is not, the table's list column is what you pay.
On Sume
Sume does not offer FLUX 3 Image, so there is no Sume price to compare. For a cost check on Sume, use the pricing array from GET /v1/images/models/{id}/endpoints for the model you would use instead. Sume bills provider list x 1.25 and reports the billed USD in usage.cost.
A cheap first step
Run a small sample first: 50 images at 1k is 50 x $0.048 = $2.40 at list. If the sample shows the edit behaviour you need, scale up.
