fal's pricing page vs what Sume bills: Kling v3, H3 Max, Nano Banana
fal lists Kling v3 Pro at $0.14 a second, H3 Max at $0.05, Nano Banana 2 at $0.08. Sume bills list x 1.25; its Kling card splits audio on and off.

fal's pricing page lists Kling Video v3 Pro at $0.14 per second, H3 Max at $0.05 per second, Nano Banana 2 at $0.08 per image, Nano Banana Pro at $0.15 per image and Seedance 2 at $0.014 per 1000 tokens. Sume bills each at fal's list x 1.25, so the billed numbers are $0.0625, $0.10, $0.1875 and $0.0175 per 1000 tokens, with Kling the one row where the two pages need a closer look.
This is a snapshot of one page on one day. Use it to sanity-check a Sume quote, not as a contract.
The rows I read
The fetched page shows each model with a unit, a price and how many units $1 buys. Kling v3 Pro text-to-video and image-to-video both show $0.14 per second. H3 Max text, image and reference rows show $0.05 per second. Nano Banana 2 and its edit row show $0.08 per image, Nano Banana Pro and its edit row $0.15. Seedance 2 image and reference rows show $0.014 per 1000 tokens.
| Model | fal pricing page | Sume billed (list x 1.25) |
|---|---|---|
| H3 Max (480p list) | $0.05 per second | $0.0625 per second |
| Nano Banana 2 (1K) | $0.08 per image | $0.10 per image |
| Nano Banana Pro (1K) | $0.15 per image | $0.1875 per image |
| Seedance 2 | $0.014 per 1000 tokens | $0.0175 per 1000 tokens |
| Kling v3 Pro, audio off | $0.14 per second (single row) | $0.14 per second |
| Kling v3 Pro, audio on | $0.14 per second (single row) | $0.21 per second |
The Kling row
fal's page shows one Kling v3 Pro figure of $0.14 and the text I read does not say whether it is for audio on or off. Sume's rate card for Kling v3 Pro records two provider prices, $0.112 per second with audio off and $0.168 with audio on, dated July 2026. Times 1.25 those bill as $0.14 and $0.21.
So the audio-off Sume price equals fal's current single figure, and the audio-on price is 50 percent above it. If fal has moved the list since July, the Sume figure you are billed is whatever the live catalog quotes, so check GET /v1/catalog and the dry-run quote for your exact request rather than relying on this table.
Why the rest line up
H3 Max has several resolutions and fal's page shows $0.05, which is the 480p list in Sume's rate card; the 768p list there is $0.08, billed at $0.10. Nano Banana 2 is $0.08 at the default 1K; Sume's card has other tiers for larger sizes. Seedance 2 is billed by tokens, so a 5-second 720p 16:9 clip is 108,000 tokens: $1.51 at fal's list and $1.89 on Sume.
Sume's video docs say billing is the provider list x 1.25 on every catalog model, reserved on submit, and the response's usage field carries the billable amount.
A routine check
If you resell or budget against Sume, snapshot the models list weekly and diff it, instead of copying prices from an article. The endpoint is GET /v1/videos/models for video and GET /v1/images/models for images, each with a pricing_skus object per model.
