Dreamina Seedance 2.5 90% off ends Oct 9: what comes next
Dreamina's $1.50 first month for Seedance 2.5 runs Sept 23 to Oct 9, 2026. What the pages say about the price after, and when per-request billing fits.

Dreamina's Seedance 2.5 page lists a 90% first-month discount, $1.50 for the month in the US, valid September 23 to October 9, 2026 for eligible users. After the first month the Basic plan on Dreamina's plan page is $15 a month. If you only need Seedance 2.5 clips now and then, a per-request API such as Sume avoids a recurring plan, but it is not a Dreamina app replacement.
Both pages were read on 2026-10-02, a week before the offer closes.

| Item | What the page says |
|---|---|
| Offer window | September 23 to October 9, 2026 |
| First month price | $1.50 per month (90% off), US |
| Per-second figure | $0.035 per generated second at 720p, Basic first month |
| Basic list price after the offer | $15 per month, 1,575 credits per month |
| Eligibility | Varies by region and plan; the pricing page lists participating countries |
What the offer does not say
The $0.035 per second figure is tied to the first-month offer, so it is not a steady-state price. Dreamina's own pricing page also warns that credits can expire or reset and that fair-use limits may apply, so the effective cost depends on how many seconds you actually generate in the month.
If you will generate less than a month's allowance, the unused credits are the cost you did not plan for. If you generate more, you move to a higher plan.
When per-request billing fits
Sume bills Seedance 2.5 per request from a workspace USD balance. The reserve on submit is the provider list price times 1.25, and the finished job reports the billable amount in usage.cost. There is no monthly allowance to use up.
seedance-2.5 accepts 4 to 30 seconds at 480p, 720p and 1080p on Sume, per the video docs. That is an API for developers and pipelines, so it has no Canvas or app features.
- Pick Dreamina if you want the app, its editing tools and a flat monthly price you will fully use.
- Pick an API if you want to script runs, pay by the clip, and keep the job id and webhook in your own system.
- Check the live price in
GET /v1/videos/modelsbefore you commit a batch.
A simple decision rule
Count the seconds you expect to generate in a month. If the number is small or irregular, price it per second on both sides and compare the totals, not the headline. If it is large and steady, a plan with a known allowance can be cheaper. The offer ends October 9, so the decision date is close.
