The short answer

CISA's Cybersecurity Awareness Month theme for 2026 is "Securing the Next 250", and its Secure Our World program names four behaviors: recognize and report phishing, use strong passwords, turn on MFA, and update software. One 15-second Sume avatar clip per behavior is 4 x $2.76 = $11.04 on Standard or 4 x $3.675 = $14.70 on Plus. Sources: CISA awareness month and Secure Our World, read 2026-10-04.

What CISA publishes

The Secure Our World page says its materials are free to use, so you can reference the four behaviors in your own short videos. Keep your script in your own words and send people to CISA for the primary guidance, instead of quoting its materials as if they were yours.

How to build them on Sume

Two layouts work with Sume's avatar talking video. Four separate videos give you one clip per week of the month, each between 4 and 60 seconds. Or one video with four ordered scenes, up to 60 seconds in total, with one avatar for the whole video and one shared scene background. Scenes carry text or a silence beat. The cost is the same either way, because billing is by estimated seconds: 60 seconds is $11.04 on Standard or $14.70 on Plus.

Setup details

Create the presenter once for $0.95 from a prompt, a profile or a photo, then reuse the handle for every clip. Vertical 9:16 at 720p is the default, which suits phone feeds and chat channels. Add an inline caption style if staff watch on mute; a caption failure is a soft fail, so the video still returns. If your copy is Korean, pick one of the Hangul caption styles, because a Latin style with Hangul text returns a 400.

A four-week schedule

Month-long campaigns work best with one idea a week. Week one: recognize and report phishing. Week two: strong passwords. Week three: MFA. Week four: software updates. Render all four on the same day with the same avatar and 9:16 framing, so staff see one familiar presenter, then schedule one a week. Keep each script to one action and one sentence of why, and put the CISA link in the post text rather than the video. At 15 seconds on Standard, all four are $11.04.

Where to go next

For the general case, see the security awareness training post. Check the price ladder if your scripts run longer than 15 seconds.
