Creatify vs Synthesia comes down to the job: Creatify is built around video ads, with AI actors, ad templates, an ad cloner and an ad launcher, and sells its API on separate plans. Synthesia is built around presenter videos in 160+ languages, with SCORM export for learning systems on Enterprise and API access from its Creator plan.

Every vendor fact below comes from Creatify's pricing and API billing pages and Synthesia's pricing and Video API pages, read on 2026-09-29, with prices as each page shows them per month. It compares plans and access, not output quality.

How do Creatify and Synthesia compare?

Both bill app use in monthly credits, but a credit is not the same unit on each, so compare what a plan lets you make rather than the credit count.

From Creatify pricing, Creatify API billing, Synthesia pricing and the Synthesia Video API page, read 2026-09-29.

Which one fits video ads?

Creatify's plan grid is ad tooling: AdFlow templates, Ad Clone ("remake any ad from a URL"), a Competitor Ad Tracker, and an Ad Launcher and AI Performance Agent for Meta, TikTok and AppLovin. Synthesia's pricing page lists none of these ad tools.

Which one fits training and company videos?

Synthesia's Enterprise plan lists SCORM export, which packages a video for an LMS "with all translated versions", plus 1-click translations into 80+ languages and unlimited video minutes. Its Roleplay sessions can be played through a public link, embed or SCORM. Creatify's pricing page does not mention SCORM.

How does API access differ?

Creatify's API is its own subscription, apart from the app plans, and an AI Avatar video costs 5 credits per 30 seconds of it. Creatify pricing and API credits works through that math.

Synthesia's Video API needs a Creator plan or above, and API video comes out of the plan's usage limits. On Creator, write calls are capped at 60 a minute, 300 an hour and 1,000 a day per endpoint, and test videos at 30 a day. Synthesia API pricing covers its credit math.

Is there a per-second option?

If you only need short scripted avatar clips from your own backend, Sume's POST /v1/avatar-1.0/talking-video bills per second: $0.184/s standard, $0.245/s plus, $0.55/s max (no product image), plus a 5.5% agent fee by default. Each video comes from a script estimated at 4–60 seconds, 720p is the documented resolution, and one avatar speaks per video (Generate avatar video). In current code it speaks English only, so it does not replace either vendor for multilingual work.
