Chhath Puja 2026 runs Friday, November 13 to Monday, November 16, with the main evening offering on Sunday, November 15. An Indian grocer taking pre-orders for puja kits (fruit, sugarcane, thekua ingredients, bamboo soop) needs two clips: an order-by post and a pickup post. Two 6-second 9:16 Wan 3.0 clips at 720p, each with a caption job, cost $1.90 on Sume.

Dates are from Divine Hindu's Chhath Puja 2026 page (read 2026-10-13): Nahay Khay on Friday, November 13; Kharna on Saturday, November 14; Sandhya Arghya at sunset on Sunday, November 15; Usha Arghya at sunrise on Monday, November 16.

Which days matter for a kit order?

Devotees need fruit and offerings in hand before Nahay Khay on Friday, so your last pickup day is Thursday, November 12. Work back from that and the two posts follow.

What does it cost on Sume?

Wan 3.0 takes a start frame in 9:16 at 480p, 720p or 1080p (Video Router). The repo's rate is $0.10 per second at 720p from the provider list, times Sume's 1.25 margin: $0.125 per second, so 6 seconds is $0.75. Authored cues in a video caption job burn the order line without speech and cost a flat $0.20 for clips up to 60 seconds.

What should the photo and the cue be?

Shoot the kit as it is sold: the soop, fruit and a printed order list on a clean surface. Use that photo as the start frame so the clip shows your real stock. Prompt only for gentle motion, such as steam or a hand placing a fruit, and keep the people out of frame so no faces are generated.

Keep the cue to the facts a buyer acts on: the order-by date, the pickup window and where to message. Do not add a sunset time in the clip. Divine Hindu lists sunset as roughly 5:01 PM in Patna, 5:28 PM in New Delhi, 6:00 PM in Mumbai and 4:53 PM in Kolkata, and a diaspora shop's viewers are in different cities.

  • Clip 1 cue: "Chhath kits - order by Nov 9".
  • Clip 2 cue: "Pickup today until 8 PM".
  • Render a 5-second 480p draft of the motion first at $0.3125 if the first try looks off.

Can the clips be reused?

The same product photos fit the Diwali five-day series a week earlier and the English and Hindi offer clip. Dev Diwali follows on November 24; see the diya photo clip.
