Cheapest 30-second AI video on Sume: Wan 3.0 at 480p, $1.88
The cheapest 30-second clip in Sume's price code is Wan 3.0 at 480p for $1.88; Seedance 2.5 at 480p is $8.07. Only these two models reach 30 seconds.

The cheapest single 30-second clip is Wan 3.0 at 480p: $1.88. Seedance 2.5 at 480p is $8.07, and the other video rows in the Video Router stop short of 30 seconds, so these are the two options for one job. higgsfield-genjutsu and h3-max-recast also take 30 seconds but are source-video edit models, covered elsewhere.
The six 30-second prices
Limits come from the Sume video models docs: seedance-2.5 takes 4 to 30 seconds, wan-3.0 2 to 30. Prices are the billed amounts (list x 1.25, rounded up to the cent).
| Model | 480p | 720p | 1080p |
|---|---|---|---|
| wan-3.0 | $1.88 | $3.75 | $7.50 |
| seedance-2.5 | $8.07 | $17.34 | $42.65 |
| Seedance 2.5 / Wan 3.0 ratio | 4.3x | 4.6x | 5.7x |
What the cheap one costs you
The cheaper model is not a lower-quality version of the same thing; they are different models with different input rules. I am only comparing price. Draft at 480p either way: one 30-second Wan draft at $1.88 leaves room for several retries before the price of one Seedance attempt.
If 30 seconds is not a hard requirement, shorter clips cost much less. A 15-second Wan clip is $0.94 at 480p, and several Sume models take 15 seconds; the 30-second Seedance page and Wan page hold the full ladders.
- Cheapest: Wan 3.0, 480p, $1.88.
- Seedance 2.5 is 4 to 6 times Wan at equal resolution.

Cost of a failed attempt
Retries are the hidden cost of any generation budget. If three of every four 30-second drafts are rejected, the effective price of an approved clip is four attempts: $7.52 on Wan at 480p, against $32.28 on Seedance 2.5 at 480p. The cheap tier changes how many ideas you can afford to test, not just the price of one.
Once a prompt works, you can re-render it at a higher tier. A 30-second Wan clip at 1080p is $7.50, still less than a single 480p Seedance 2.5 attempt. Price alone cannot tell you which model suits your content; run the same prompt on both at 480p and compare the output.
How these numbers were produced
The figures are Sume's billed-amount estimates for wan-3.0 and seedance-2.5 on 2026-10-06, for 30-second jobs at three resolutions. The tables show whole cents.
These are estimates of the billed amount for the stated settings. Anything not in the table, such as a different frame shape, a reference input or a changed quality tier, can change the number, so run the estimate for your own request before a large batch. Where this page and the public API pricing list disagree, the pricing page and the live quote win.
