A neighborhood bakery can make a 15-second promo for $1.277 on Sume: one 8-second Wan 3.0 clip at 720p, two GPT Image 2.5 stills for the price and the address, a 400-character voice-over, a Music 1.0 bed and one Timeline render. The shop pays for the final file, not a subscription.

Shot list

  • Seconds 0 to 8: the generated clip, such as steam rising from a loaf on a wooden counter.
  • Seconds 8 to 11: a still with the special of the week and price, exact text from you.
  • Seconds 11 to 15: a still with the address and hours, held to the end.

Put the text in your own pixels

Prices and hours must be right, so design those two stills yourself or check the generated text letter by letter. Generated lettering can drift. Sume bills the provider list price times 1.25 and reserves it at submit; if the balance cannot cover the reserve, the call returns 402 insufficient_credits before any work.

Reuse

Keep the clip and the bed; swap only the two stills and the voice each week. A weekly refresh then costs $0.152.

Making it repeatable

The first run teaches you the prompts that work. Write the winning prompt for the clip and the two still templates in a shared note, and the following week the owner only changes the dish, the price and the hours. Because every step is an API call with its own idempotency key, a script can run the whole chain on a schedule, and the shop's only recurring cost is the weekly total in the table. Review each output once before it is posted, and keep the receipts in the workspace job list.
