Allegro image rules: 500 px minimum, 2560 max, no logos
Allegro needs the longer side at least 500 px and at most 2560 x 2560, in JPG, PNG or WEBP, with no store logos or text. Check the account image limits first.

Allegro wants the longer side of a gallery image at least 500 pixels, with a maximum of 2560 x 2560 pixels (26 megapixels), in JPG, JPEG, PNG or WEBP via API or file upload. Any aspect ratio is allowed. You cannot add text such as a store name, logo or order information to images, except original packaging text. Regular accounts get 10 images, business accounts 16 (40 for classifieds).
This is from Allegro's image rules, read on 2026-10-02.
What does Allegro require?
The page mixes size, count and content rules.
| Item | Rule |
|---|---|
| Minimum size | Longer side at least 500 px |
| Maximum size | 2560 x 2560 px (26 Mpx) |
| Formats | JPG, JPEG, PNG, WEBP via API or file upload |
| Aspect ratio | Any |
| Image count | 10 (regular), 16 (business, most categories), 40 (classifieds) |
| Text and logos | Not allowed, with exceptions; original packaging text is allowed |
| Dimensions | Numbers are allowed if shown graphically |
Why are text overlays a risk with AI images?
Image models add text on their own, such as invented labels or a pseudo logo. Allegro bans store names and logos in the image, so include no text in the image in your prompt and inspect each result before upload.
Generate a clean product image
Send the real product photo as input_references through the Image API, and ask for a plain backdrop with nothing added. The output must still look like what the buyer receives.
