Google's launch post for Lyria 3.5, read on 2026-10-05, says the model reached the Gemini app and API on September 4, 2026 and names backing tracks, jingles and ringtones among the things people make with it. You can make the same on Sume: prompt it, then trim the result to the length you need. A take is $0.125 on the Music Router, and Google lists the model at $0.08 per song on its pricing page.

Prompt for a short piece

The router has no duration field, so put length in the words: "A 10-second upbeat brand jingle, instrumental, plucked synth and handclaps, ends on a clean final note." Songs from Lyria 3.5 run "a couple of minutes" by default according to the music generation page, controllable by prompt, so expect to get something longer sometimes.

Trim and keep the clean ending

Use Timeline audio in split mode to cut a range out of the take: up to 20 ranges in one job, wav or mp3 output, a flat $0.01. Cut the best 10 seconds and ask for a few ranges at once, such as 5, 10 and 15 seconds, so one take gives you several jingle lengths for $0.135 in total. Listen to the cut points, since a trimmed range that ends mid-phrase will sound abrupt; a short fade in your editor or a Timeline fade_out_seconds hides it.
