A minute of Veo 3.1 costs between $3.00 (Lite at 720p) and $36.00 (Standard at 4K) at Google's published per-second prices. Fast sits between them at $6.00 for 720p, $7.20 for 1080p and $18.00 for 4K.

The table below multiplies each rate by 60, so you can see where one step up in resolution or tier moves the total.

One minute, every tier and resolution

Standard is the same $0.40 a second at 720p and 1080p, then $0.60 at 4K. Fast goes $0.10, $0.12, $0.30. Lite lists only 720p ($0.05) and 1080p ($0.08), so there is no Lite 4K cell.

The last row is Gemini Omni Flash on Sume. Its first column is 720p, its second 1080p and its third 4K. At 360p, a minute is $2.25.

Reading the table

Standard at 1080p costs the same as Standard at 720p, so if you buy Standard there is no reason to stay at 720p. Fast at 1080p costs 20% more than 720p. Lite at 1080p costs 60% more.

The jump to 4K is where totals move most: Fast 4K is three times Fast 720p, and Standard 4K is 1.5 times Standard 1080p.

  • Cheapest minute: Lite 720p, $3.00.
  • Cheapest minute you can post at 1080p: Lite, $4.80.
  • Most expensive: Standard 4K, $36.00.

On Sume

Sume does not list a Veo model. Its Google video model is gemini-omni-flash-1.1, which takes 3 to 10 seconds at 360p, 720p, 1080p or 4K, in 16:9 or 9:16, with audio always on. Sume bills the provider list rate times 1.25 for each output second, so its rates are $0.0375, $0.125, $0.1875 and $0.375 a second. A 60-second film means six 10-second requests stitched together, not one clip.

That makes the Sume row a minimum-six-job plan. At 720p it is $7.50, which is $1.50 more than Google-direct Omni at about $0.10 a second.

Caveat

A minute of finished video usually takes more than a minute of generation, because some takes are thrown away. Multiply by your own keep rate. Google's Veo page sets how long each clip can be, and that page controls how many requests a minute needs.
