60-second AI video ad from 10-second shots: hero and filler cost
Six 10-second shots, two on Seedance 2.5 at 1080p and four on Wan 3.0 at 480p, make a 60-second spot for $30.96 on Sume. All six on 2.5 would be $85.32.

Spend on the shots that carry the message and save on the ones that do not. Two 10-second hero shots on seedance-2.5 at 1080p ($14.22 each) plus four 10-second filler shots on wan-3.0 at 480p ($0.63 each) make a 60-second spot for $30.96 on Sume, before retakes.
The same six shots all on Seedance 2.5 at 1080p cost $85.32. Mixing models saves $54.36, a reduction of about 64 percent.
Why mix models
Each Sume job is priced on its own model and tier, so there is no penalty for using two ids in one project. A hero shot (product reveal, face, logo) is where resolution and motion quality are seen. Filler (establishing cutaways, textures, transitions) is cut short and often covered by text or music, where 480p is acceptable for a draft or a small-screen delivery.
Both models take 10 seconds: seedance-2.5 runs 4 to 30 seconds and wan-3.0 2 to 30 seconds. You can assemble the six clips on the Sume Timeline.
Cost of five plans
Six shots of 10 seconds, rounded up per job. Seedance at 16:9, per video token; Wan per second. Prices from the Sume rule of list times 1.25.
| Plan | Per shot | Total |
|---|---|---|
| Two Seedance 2.5 1080p + four Wan 480p | $14.22 / $0.63 | $30.96 |
| Two Wan 1080p + four Wan 480p | $2.50 / $0.63 | $7.52 |
| Six Wan 720p | $1.25 | $7.50 |
| Six Wan 1080p | $2.50 | $15.00 |
| Six Seedance 2.5 1080p | $14.22 | $85.32 |
Add retakes
If hero shots need three takes each, add four more hero jobs: $56.88. If filler needs two takes, add four filler jobs: $2.52. The mixed plan then costs $90.36. The retake budget is usually larger than the difference between the cheap tiers, so decide takes before you decide model.
Matching look
Two different models will not match in color or motion by default. Keep the prompt style, lighting words and aspect ratio (all 16:9 here) consistent, and put hero and filler in different parts of the cut so the change in texture reads as a change of scene. Both rows sit in the 2026 timeline of releases this year.
