500 banners: Imagen 4 Fast $12.50, FLUX 2 Pro $18.75, Ultra $37.50
Priced from Sume's image catalog: 500 banners cost $12.50 on Imagen 4 Fast, $18.75 on FLUX 2 Pro and $37.50 on Imagen 4 Ultra. Full table and arithmetic.

Five hundred banner images cost $12.50 on Imagen 4 Fast, $18.75 on FLUX 2 Pro and $37.50 on Imagen 4 Ultra at Sume's current catalog rates. That is $0.025, $0.0375 and $0.075 per image, each the provider list times 1.25. The cheapest row is three times cheaper than the dearest of the three, and the spread comes entirely from the model you pick.
The table uses flat per-image rows from the Image Router and is produced with the repo's estimateImageRouterProviderCost. Rows that depend on resolution or quality (Nano Banana, Ideogram, GPT Image) have their own posts.
Price for 500 images
| Model | Sume per image | 500 images | 500 with 5.5% fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| Imagen 4 Fast | $0.025 | $12.50 | $13.19 |
| Grok Image | $0.025 | $12.50 | $13.19 |
| FLUX 2 Pro | $0.0375 | $18.75 | $19.78 |
| Recraft v4 | $0.05 | $25.00 | $26.38 |
| Imagen 4 Ultra | $0.075 | $37.50 | $39.56 |
| Qwen Image Max | $0.09375 | $46.88 | $49.45 |
The arithmetic
Each per-image figure is the provider list multiplied by 1.25: Imagen 4 Fast $0.02 x 1.25 = $0.025; FLUX 2 Pro $0.03 x 1.25 = $0.0375; Imagen 4 Ultra $0.06 x 1.25 = $0.075. For 500 images, multiply: 500 x $0.025 = $12.50, 500 x $0.0375 = $18.75, 500 x $0.075 = $37.50.
The fee column applies the 5.5% platform fee from Sume's pricing policy to the post-margin amount: $12.50 x 1.055 = $13.19. A request can ask for up to 4 images with num_images, so 500 images is 125 requests at 4 each.
Steps
- Pick the cheapest model that passes a 20-image trial on your real brief.
- Batch four per request to cut the number of jobs.
- Resize or crop to banner ratios after generation; check each model's allowed aspect ratios in the catalog before assuming 728x90 is possible.
- Send only the approved ones to a pricier model for hero placement.
Budgeting a mixed set
Most campaigns do not use one model for everything. A reasonable mix is 400 drafts on Imagen 4 Fast ($10.00), 80 refinements on FLUX 2 Pro ($3.00) and 20 hero images on Imagen 4 Ultra ($1.50), a total of $14.50 for 500 images, only $2.00 more than the all-Fast route and $23.00 less than all-Ultra.
If you also want a cheap sanity check on a concept, Grok Image and Imagen 4 Fast both bill $0.025 per image, so 200 test frames is $5.00 on either. Recraft v4 is $0.05 and Qwen Image Max $0.09375, so a 100-image trial of each costs $5.00 and $9.38.
Every figure here is the unit rate times the count. Read the final usage.cost on each finished job to confirm the unit rate you were billed.
What Sume does not do
Sume does not guarantee any of these models renders readable text inside a banner; text-heavy ads belong on a text-capable model. It does not discount for volume, so 500 images cost 500 times the unit rate. Rates read on 2026-10-08.
