50 gift SKUs: cutout plus a 5-second clip for $33, or $17.50 at 480p
Remove the background ($0.03) and render a 5-second clip per SKU. Omni Flash at 720p totals $33.00 for 50 gift SKUs; Wan 3.0 at 480p totals $17.50.

Cutting out the background and rendering one 5-second clip for each of 50 gift SKUs costs $33.00 with Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 at 720p, or $17.50 with Wan 3.0 at 480p. The cutout is $0.03 per image and the clip is $0.63 at 720p on Omni or $0.32 at 480p on Wan.
The cutout step matters for gifts because supplier photos arrive on messy backgrounds. A clean PNG with alpha gives the video model a clear subject to place in a seasonal scene.
The per-SKU receipt
Sume RMBG 1.0 is priced at $0.0225 per image, which the catalog shows as $0.03 in cents. Omni Flash 1.1 at 720p bills $0.125 per second, so 5 seconds are $0.625, billed as $0.63. Wan 3.0 at 480p lists $0.05 per second, billed at $0.0625, so 5 seconds are $0.3125, billed as $0.32.
| Pipeline | Cutout | 5 s clip | Per SKU | 50 SKUs |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| RMBG + Omni Flash 1.1, 720p | $0.03 | $0.63 | $0.66 | $33.00 |
| RMBG + Wan 3.0, 480p | $0.03 | $0.32 | $0.35 | $17.50 |
| RMBG + Wan 3.0, 720p | $0.03 | $0.63 | $0.66 | $33.00 |
Reference or first frame?
Both models accept image inputs. Use the cutout composited on a seasonal background as the first frame when the product must stay exact, since the model then animates a still you approved. Use it as a reference image when you want the model to invent the scene around the product, accepting some drift in labels and shape.
Omni Flash accepts up to 10 reference images and 3 reference clips of at most 3 seconds each. For a gift set, pass the set as references so the clip keeps every item.
Add a retry budget
Plan on one SKU in five needing a second render. On the Omni route, 10 retries cost 10 × $0.63 = $6.30, so the batch lands at $39.30. On the Wan 480p route they cost 10 × $0.32 = $3.20, for $20.70. A common compromise is Wan at 480p for approval previews and Omni at 720p for the final: 50 × $0.35 = $17.50, plus 30 approved SKUs × $0.63 = $18.90, for $36.40.
Run it as a queue
Fifty jobs is small enough to submit directly, with one Idempotency-Key per SKU and a callback_url so you are not polling. The jobs docs describe status, results and events for each job, and the webhook docs cover signature checking. For hundreds of SKUs, the Format queue posts linked below are the better shape.
