16:10, 10:16, 3:1 and 1:3 image ratios: only Ideogram on Sume
Only the two Ideogram models in the Sume catalog list 16:10, 10:16, 3:1 and 1:3. Ideogram V3 bills $0.075 per image; read the list before sending.

Ideogram V3 and Ideogram 4.5 are the two Sume image models that list 16:10, 10:16, 3:1 and 1:3 in their ratio lists. Ideogram V3 bills $0.075 per image and Ideogram 4.5 bills $0.075 at medium quality; a request for one of these ratios on any other model returns 400 unsupported_parameter.
Facts are from the Sume Image API docs and the live catalog (read 2026-10-03).
Which models take which
16:10 is the shape of most laptop screens and 3:1 suits a web banner or a profile header. If you need 21:9 instead, Qwen Image and Recraft V4 list it.
| Model | 16:10 and 10:16 | 3:1 and 1:3 | 21:9 and 9:21 | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ideogram V3 | yes | yes | no | $0.075 |
| Ideogram 4.5 | yes | yes | no | $0.075 (medium) |
| Qwen Image | no | no | yes | $0.025 |
| Recraft V4 | no | no | yes | $0.05 |
| Seedream 4.5 | no | no | no | $0.05 |
Checking in code
Read the ratio list from GET /v1/images/models rather than hard-coding it; the catalog is the source of truth and can change between releases. This script prints each model id and whether the ratio text appears in its record.
import os
import requests
hdr = {"Authorization": "Bearer " + os.environ["SUME_API_KEY"]}
r = requests.get("https://api.sume.com/v1/images/models", headers=hdr, timeout=30)
r.raise_for_status()
wanted = "3:1"
for m in r.json()["data"]:
print(m["id"], wanted in str(m))
